On 30 Dec 2008, 7 of our RC members and volunteers went to National University Hospital to help throw a year-end party for the patients and families of the Children's Cancer Foundation (CCF). The programme included game stations, a magic show and balloon sculpting - it was an extremely fun time for us and the families, who really enjoyed themselves.
Our cross-stitch interest group also presented two specially stitched pieces to CCF to be put up at their children's ward to liven up the environment. The members of the interest group hope to make an annual donation to charity, and look forward to their next contribution.

By the way, our cross-stitch interest group has changed their weekly gathering to Tuesday nights, 8.00 to 9.30pm in the RC Centre. If you would like to learn or share cross-stitching skills, you're welcome to join us!
