Vandals strike again at Block 787, on 25 Nov 2009 at 1.50am. It is the same spot which the vandals last strike twice about 2 months ago. Residents have been asking for CCTV, for these gadgets cannot be used as a long term solution. Forming a committee to patrol or do midnight rounds was also another suggestion and it would only take place should there be enough residents to help us watch over the area based on a watch system.On the interim, we will work with Town Council to ensure that the place will be cleared of fire hazard materials everyday .... and for me, since am a regular supper goer to Yew Tee point, about 2 - 3 times a week, I will patrol past this place as part of my responsibility, but no promises that vandals will not strike again !!
