Below is an article from Straits Times online, though it did not happen in our area (that is in Zone 9 vicinity), but it happened just across the road at another zone. Well, thieves have feet, so they may just migrate over here and commit the same crime ... and the culprit is very unsuspecting .... KEEP WATCH.

POLICE are looking for a snatch-theft suspect believed to be a 10-year-old boy. He is alleged to have run off with the belongings of a tuition teacher from the void deck of a block in Choa Chu Kang Street 52 at 11.15pm on Sunday.
The victim, Ms Yang Jing Pin, said she was talking on her mobile phone at the void deck of Block 547 where she lives when someone snatched her bag. When she turned around, she saw the suspect running towards a multi-storey carpark at Block 549.
Ms Yang said her bag contained cash of about $40, two phone cards with $20 in value, a portable Playstation and her employment pass.
The 10-year-old suspect is said to be skinny and with dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a yellow shirt and black shorts.
