On 24 Mar, the Central Rubbish Chute of Block 786 caught fire when someone just threw lighted matters into the chute, causing a big fire in the containment area ... we thought it was probably a one-off negligence act of a resident.
Today, on 31 Mar, the CRC of Block 767 faced a similar problem, it caught fire and needed SCDF to assist in downing it. Looks like it seem to be a serial vandal / prankster on the loose.
All residents are encouraged to look out for suspicious persons loitering around the corridor. It would help if you could alert the police and give a description of the suspicious character. Let us come together and make Yew Tee Zone 9 a safe place to stay in.
