Sleeping On The Staircase

Just cannot imagine, why would someone of sane mind would want to sleep along the staircase and cause obstruction ?? Not only that, sleeping on the stairway landing will not be in pitch darkness, but having the lights shining on us when we rest ??

Here we have a mattress left on the staircase, if left unattended, it will become a fire hazard. Our RC will not hesitate to throw it away as a preventive measure.
