On Sunday 21 Dec 08, 95 participants woke up early to go for our first nature walk at Southern Ridges. We walked through various interesting parts of the trail, such as Mount Faber, Henderson Wave, Hilltop Walk, Forest Walk, Alexandra Arch and Hort Park. Although it was a bright sunny morning, there was a constant breeze that kept us cool and in high spirits. After the walk, we had brunch at West Coast food centre before returning back to Yew Tee.
Feedback from the participants was good, and since our members had as much fun as our residents, we have decided to organize another trip around March next year. For those who missed out on this one, do look out for the next one!
