Every Friday (except Public Holidays), from 8pm - 9.30pm the resident corner at Block 785 looks like having mahjong sessions, where we see many tables being laid for residents young and old to play. At times, despite having up to 10 tables of boards being used, there are still queues awaiting to play. We are talking about our weekly "Carrom Shootout".It is a free games for families to enjoy and bond among one another, and we see experienced carrom players, giving tips to the young ones. By next year, we may organise a small mini tournment among the amatuer players.
